Mending a broken faith
Time gradually broke the faith I had grown up with, and as I put that "bowl" of faith back together again, it looks quite different than it did. In fact, this repaired "bowl" of faith is turning out to be something more beautiful and more precious than anything it ever could have been before it broke.

Why a kintsugi life?
Kintsugi as a metaphor for living reminds me that I am valuable enough to be worth mending (no matter how broken I may feel) and that treasuring the healing to be found in my scars instead of attempting to hide them allows that healing to become a gift of gold I offer the world around me.
